FORS/CLOCS compliant kits now available from Dun-Bri Group

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators but it is becoming a more widely accepted standard and some sites will not accept vehicles and staff that don't comply with their standards...

With over 4,600 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for those organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements.

From this, Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) has also come to fruition. CLOCS has developed the Standard for construction logistics: Managing work related road risk, a common standard for use by the construction logistics industry. Implemented by construction clients through contracts, this new Standard provides a framework enabling the management of road safety by the industry in a way that can be adhered to in a consistent way by fleet operators.

Eleven separate standards, codes of practice and policies relating to work related road safety were reviewed and bought together into a single common standard under the CLOCS guise.

From both schemes, we at Dun-Bri Group have produced a range of 'off the shelf' kits to attain FORS Silver and Gold accreditation for operators, and to comply with the CLOCS guides currently available. They consist of all of the safety scanning, reverse alarm and camera products you need specifically required to your vehicle type.
